Carlingford
On the 19th of February my year went to Carlingford adventure centre for 4 days. We were all really excited in school on the Monday morning as we were packing our bags onto the bus to head to Louth.
Once we got to to the adventure centre the staff and instructors told us all the rules we have to follow while staying there and our agenda for the week, we got to chill out for a little while before we went off to do our first activity of the day. We were split into groups A and B, I was in group A and our first activity was to go to sky park.
When we got to sky park we saw a serious of zip lines and obstacles over us and couldn’t wait to start, but first we had to watch a video to learn how to get a around the course and use the zip lines. My whole group really enjoyed skypark and even the people who were afraid of heights had a good time.
When we got back to the centre we had dinner straight away, we then got to go up to the games room with everyone or go to the tuck shop or just chill in your room for a little while.
We were then told what our groups were doing for our final activity of the first day, my group did the Carlingford challenge, we all thought it was a great laugh.
On the second morning i went with group B to do skypark again as i was feeling sick and thought it would be best not to go canoeing with my group, i also didn’t do the other activities that day as i wasn’t feeling up for it, but my group told me they loved everything they did that day.
On the third day I did aeroball and frisbee golf, later combat and night line, I loved all three but later combat was my favourite.
On the last day, sadly I wasn’t feeling well enough to do any activities but my group told me all about them.
I loved my carlingford experience and Im really happyy that we got the opportunity to go.
