Three Peaks Challenge
On Friday the 4th of April, my year did our Three Peaks challenge. We had each just raised €100 or more by having people sponsor us to walk three peaks, my sponsors consisted mainly of family and friends that were happy to help as I told them all of the money was going towards our difference day project of helping build a school.
The walk started off at the bottom of the Sugar Loaf, the whole year and our teachers walked over the shoulder and back down to come out at Kilmacanogue, the first peak was difficult but I think many of us thought that the next one was the toughest. After we stopped in the shop to get lunch, water and ice creams, we made our way to the bottom of the Baby Sugar Loaf, although this peak wasn’t as long as the first, it was the most challenging, but none of us minded as we knew it was all for a good cause. Once we reached the top, we all took a break to eat our lunch, after that it was straight on to our final peak.
We came out at Killruddery and headed towards our final peak, Bray cliff walk, we all thought this was the easiest walk of the day and were all happy to be out in the lovely weather. After taking a few photos and waling around Bray for a few minutes, we all took the bus back to the school. It was a great day out with my year, and Im glad I was able to help for difference day.
